SoundHealth, a California company that develops noninvasive medical devices, has closed an oversubscribed $12.25 million Series A round. Shangbay Capital led the financing, which was announced on July 30, 2026.

The company plans to speed up commercialization of its Sonu device, which carries FDA clearance, while working on new uses for its personalized acoustic technology in sleep health. Sonu is a wearable built as a drug free option for patients aged 12 and older who deal with allergic and nonallergic rhinitis.

To date, the device has delivered more than 500,000 acoustic resonance treatment sessions. SoundHealth previously raised a $7 million seed round in July 2024 to bring Sonu to market.

With the new capital, the company aims to widen its lineup of AI powered wearables and reach more patients looking for treatments that do not rely on medication.
