Open Vision Engineering, a company based in San Francisco, California, has raised $11 million in a Seed round from Accel, Y Combinator, and other investors.
The company makes Pocket, an AI voice recorder built into a $129 device about the size and shape of a credit card. It records conversations, transcribes and summarizes them, and generates follow ups from what it hears.
The funding gives Open Vision Engineering more room to build out the product as interest grows in small, dedicated devices that capture and organize everyday conversations.
