Netris Raises $15M Series A From a16z for AI Network Automation

Netris, a Santa Clara, California company that automates the networking layer inside GPU data centers, has raised $15 million in Series A funding from Andreessen Horowitz. The round was announced on June 25, 2026.

The company’s platform, called NAAM, short for Network Automation, Abstraction, and Multi-Tenancy, is built to help operators launch, run, and monetize GPU clouds. Networking has become one of the slower steps in standing up these clusters, and Netris focuses on removing that bottleneck so AI cloud providers can go live faster.

The raise follows what the company describes as 800 percent annual recurring revenue growth and more than 35 live deployments at GPU clusters worldwide. Those deployments include operations run by Lightning AI, Foxconn-backed Visionbay, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, TensorWave, and Telus.

Interestingly, the company is clear that there is no artificial intelligence inside its own product. Its software relies on algorithms developed earlier for configuring and running network automation and operations, rather than machine learning.

Netris plans to use the money to hire more engineers and sales staff, add support for additional hardware vendors, and build more functionality into its system. As part of the round, a16z partner Guido Appenzeller is joining the company’s board.
