MaxQ Medical, Inc. announced on August 20, 2026 that it had closed a $31.5 million Series A financing. Atlantic Blue Ventures, S3 Ventures and Olympus Innovation Ventures led the round, with strong participation from existing investor Hillside Capital.
The private health technology company is building an all in one transurethral imaging and therapy system for prostate care. The medical device is fully automated, urethra preserving, and designed for outpatient settings, combining ultrasound imaging with targeted therapy.
What that means in practice is that a urologist gets full visibility of the prostate and can deliver individualized treatment inside a single procedure. The company is starting with benign prostatic hyperplasia and plans to move into prostate cancer focal therapy and prostate diagnostics from there.
MaxQ Medical is based in Sunnyvale. Operating in California, the company will put the new funds toward growing its team and advancing its clinical program.
Contract manufacturers, CROs and suppliers targeting newly funded device developers can build their pipeline from Life Science Lead Generation.
