KredosAI, a company based in Issaquah, Washington, has raised a $7 million Series A led by BMW i Ventures. The oversubscribed round drew new backers Motley Fool Ventures and Walter Ventures, along with existing investors Okapi Venture Capital, StartFast Ventures, SaaS Ventures, and Stout Street Capital. Total funding now stands at a little over $10 million.

Founded in 2021 by former T-Mobile executives Balaji Sridharan and Dave Thoms, KredosAI uses AI and behavioral science to help companies collect overdue consumer payments. Across its enterprise customers, the company reports an 11.5% drop in write off rates and a 13.6% rise in customer lifetime value.

The round will fund three main goals: expanding into financial services and auto lending, speeding up product work that includes a multi agent framework with voice agent support, and growing the team by two to two and a half times over the next year.

The raise points to steady investor interest in tools that apply AI to the everyday problem of getting paid on time.
