Pie has raised $19.5 million in Series A funding led by Lightspeed Venture Partners, the company announced on June 30, 2026. The round, which brings total funding to $23.7 million, coincides with Pie stepping out of stealth. Capital One Ventures, SciFi VC, F-Prime, Commerce Ventures, and WEX Venture Capital also took part.

Founded in 2025 by Syed Ali and Akhil Mantripragada, Pie runs an AI powered platform built to help small and medium sized businesses handle local discovery, win new customers, and stay in touch with them.

Its tools cover AI search optimization and growth marketing, along with an automated front desk. That product, called Front Desk, answers calls for small business owners around the clock, takes bookings and reservations, and responds to customer questions.

Pie plans to use the money to scale how it distributes the platform, add to its AI product lineup, and grow its team as it builds out its offering for small businesses.
