Kosmos Raises $5M Seed for AI Operational Intelligence

Kosmos, an AI-native operational intelligence company based in Chicago, Illinois, has raised $5 million in a Seed round led by Norwest. The round was announced in June 2026.

Founded by Sanjay Gidwani, Kosmos develops a correlated root-cause intelligence platform designed to eliminate manual investigation costs. It does this by autonomously connecting fragmented customer cases, code changes, and service incidents across GitHub, Jira, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Datadog, Grafana, and Splunk.

The company plans to use the funds to accelerate product development, expand market education, and broaden its software integration capabilities across enterprise IT support and engineering channels. Kosmos officially launched its commercial operations alongside the round, joined the Salesforce partner ecosystem, and validated its autonomous ingestion framework through initial enterprise deployments with firms such as PSIgnite and Tribble.
