Decimal AI has raised $4 million in a Seed round co-led by Khosla Ventures and Kearny Jackson, with Atlassian Ventures and Weekend Fund participating. Individual backers include Claire Johnson, former COO of Stripe, Michelle Valentin, founder and executive chairman of Anrok, and Rimple Patel, former CCO at Eightfold.
The San Mateo, California company is introducing what it calls the Customer Engineering Platform, a layer for software support meant to bring an engineering team’s technical understanding into every customer conversation.
Its AI Support Engineer handles issues end to end. That includes answering customer questions and taking actions such as resolving billing and account problems, but it goes further: investigating code, logs, configurations, production data, documentation, and customer history, then producing bug fixes for engineering review.
Since launching in March 2025, Decimal has been adopted by software companies including Granola, Resilinc, Tealium, BuildOps, and Lucidworks, along with a Fortune 5 technology company.
Vendors selling into customer support and engineering teams can get verified contacts at newly funded startups every week through B2B SaaS Leads.
