Graph AI, the company behind the Graph Safety patient safety platform, has raised $13.3 million in Series A funding. Insight Partners led the round, and Bessemer Venture Partners, which backed the company’s seed round, participated again. The announcement came on September 10, 2026 from Pleasanton, California, where the company is based.
Graph AI was founded in 2024 to take on the operational drag and regulatory weight that sits on pharmacovigilance teams. Inside most pharmaceutical companies, safety staff spend a large share of their time on manual case processing and workflow tasks. Graph Safety is built to have software absorb that load so the experts can focus on analysis and the decisions that require human judgement.
The platform pairs AI with deterministic controls, validation layers, and full audit trails, all designed for regulated environments. Source data and outputs stay traceable, which supports customer validation, inspection readiness, and human oversight. The company says it built the system with reference to the FDA’s risk-based credibility assessment framework for AI in regulatory decision-making, the EU Artificial Intelligence Act, and the CIOMS Working Group XIV report on AI in pharmacovigilance.
In live customer deployments, Graph Safety has cut case processing turnaround from more than three hours to under 10 minutes, a reduction of over 90 percent, and lowered operating costs by as much as 66 percent.
Since its seed round in October 2025, Graph AI has shipped two modules. The first, /intake, captures and triages incoming adverse-event reports from every channel. The second, /nucleus, is a safety database that automates case processing end to end. A third module, /report, for automated aggregate reporting, launches this September. The company has signed pharmaceutical and biotech customers across North America and other regions, and has design partnerships lined up for future modules, including /signal, which is meant to surface emerging safety patterns across cases.
The new capital will fund expansion across the United States and Europe.
