Antioch, a New York, New York company that builds a simulation platform for physical AI, has raised $32 million in Series A funding. The round was reported on September 11, 2026.
Greylock led the Series A. A*, Category Ventures, Box Group, and Icehouse Ventures joined, along with individual investors Shyam Sankar, Adrian Macneil, and Ian Andrews.
Antioch plans to put the money into faster product development, a larger engineering team, and deeper simulation capabilities across robotics, drones, industrial automation, and fixed perception applications.
The company, led by Harry Mellsop and Alex Langshur, gives robotics and autonomy teams a way to develop, test, and validate AI systems in high-fidelity simulation. The platform calibrates simulations to a customer’s own hardware and scales from a single experiment to thousands of parallel evaluations in the cloud. That lets companies shorten development cycles and widen test coverage before putting systems into physical deployment.
Antioch works with physical AI infrastructure providers including NVIDIA and Nebius.
