Ryft has raised £20 million in a Series B led by asset manager Gresham House. Existing investors Pembroke VCT and Ingenii Capital took part, and PXN Ventures came in as a new backer through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund.

The company describes the round as the largest UK payments Series B of 2026.

The company is based in Manchester, in the UK. It builds payments infrastructure for marketplaces, platforms, and multi-location businesses.

Growth has been quick. Ryft tripled its transaction processing volume over the past year, and more than 6,500 businesses now run on the platform.

The money funds expansion into Europe and the United States. As part of the European push, Ryft has applied for a full EU licence from the Malta Financial Services Authority.

Software vendors and service firms selling into newly funded payments and financial services companies can get verified contacts every week through Small Business Leads.
