Fish Audio Raises $52M Seed for AI Voice Models

Fish Audio, an AI voice company based in Mountain View, California, has raised $52 million in a seed round led by Coreline Ventures and Capital Today. The company announced the financing on July 28, 2026.
The platform focuses on expressive real time text to speech, voice cloning and voice agents for creators, developers and enterprises. Fish Audio marked its first anniversary around the raise, having grown from nothing to $21 million in annual recurring revenue and more than 8 million users.
The company traces its roots to Fish Speech, one of the most starred open source voice projects on GitHub. It began in the bedroom of cofounder and chief scientist Shijia Liao, a former NVIDIA video researcher who trained early models on a single gaming GPU out of frustration with flat, synthetic sounding voices.
