LemonEdge, a London, England company building fund accounting software for private markets, has closed a $21 million Series A round. The company runs its operations from London and New York, and it announced the raise on July 29, 2026.
Blackstone Innovations Investments led the round, with BNY and Sidekick Partners taking part. The new money brings the total LemonEdge has raised to more than $30 million. The company plans to use it to speed up product development and to keep growing across the United States and Europe.
Founded in 2020, LemonEdge works with private equity firms, fund administrators and large family offices. Clients on its platform manage more than $2.5 trillion in assets. Its software pulls fund processes into a single system of record in real time, with automation and audit controls built in across the fund lifecycle.
The company also strengthened its senior team as it moves into its next stage of growth, naming New York based David T. O’Malley as Chief Executive Officer and Board Chair.
