Apollo Atomics has raised $26 million in equity and $5 million in debt, taking its total Seed round to $31 million. FCVC led the oversubscribed financing.

Y Combinator, Telesoft Partners, Alumni Ventures, Robinhood Ventures, Nucleation Capital, Pelion VC and Duke Capital Partners all took part.

The company is going after the steam generator, which is the largest single component in a nuclear plant. The pitch is a factory built product rather than a construction project, with AI data centers as an obvious customer.

Assil Halimi and Drew Walker founded the business in 2025 as a spinout from MIT. It runs from Cambridge, and its Massachusetts base sits alongside the university the technology came out of.

Capital will fund expanded demonstration and long duration reliability testing, manufacturing capacity, and regulatory work with the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
