Aslan Protects has raised $20.8 million in a Seed round co-led by Khosla Ventures and XYZ Venture Capital. BoxGroup, 2048 Ventures, Liquid 2 Ventures, Alumni Ventures and other defense technology backers also joined.
The company works out of Washington, D.C., and it was founded in 2025.
Aslan builds a specialized cyber defense and intelligence platform that deploys human-supervised autonomous AI operatives. Those operatives are designed to move inside hostile digital environments at internet scale, which is a different proposition from the perimeter tools most cybersecurity companies sell.
The capital goes toward three things: scaling the core software engineering, data science and threat intelligence teams, expanding high-performance computational infrastructure, and speeding up deployment of its digital operatives across American national security, intelligence and federal law enforcement agencies.
That customer list explains the investor mix. A round co-led by Khosla with a bench of defense technology funds behind it points at government procurement rather than commercial enterprise sales.
Security vendors and integrators selling into newly funded companies can source verified contacts through Cyber Security Lead Generation.
