Vital Signals has raised more than $15 million in seed funding to advance its work on how people understand, engage with, and manage blood pressure and long-term heart health. The round was led by XYZ Ventures.
The company timed the announcement to World Hypertension Day, which this year carries the theme “Controlling Hypertension Together.” Vital Signals pointed to the global toll of high blood pressure, which remains one of the leading contributors to serious cardiovascular outcomes worldwide.
Founded by technology veteran Tom Moss, Vital Signals is building technology meant to help consumers treat blood pressure as an indicator of long-term health, with an approach centered on accuracy, useful insights, and ease of use. Moss previously held leadership roles at Google, Motorola, Razer, and Skydio. According to the company, he was moved to start the business after personally going through a life-threatening hypertensive crisis.
The funding will support Vital Signals as it advances its technology platform and continues development focused on blood pressure monitoring and long-term cardiovascular health management.
