Groq raised $350 million in Series A financing on August 17, 2026. Disruptive led the round with participation from NVIDIA, and the deal values the company at $3.5 billion. Total funding now stands at $1 billion.
The company deploys and operates high performance AI compute, pulling infrastructure, inference and cloud services into one globally distributed platform. Model makers, developers and enterprises use it to build and run workloads at scale. Groq currently runs 13 data centers across North America, Europe, the Middle East and Asia Pacific, and serves more than six million developers along with Fortune 500 enterprises and thousands of AI native companies.
Alex Davis serves as executive chairman. The business operates from Mountain View, and its California base anchors a footprint that now spans four regions.
New capital is aimed at customers who want medium and larger sized clusters of NVIDIA accelerated computing for training and inference. Groq also plans to scale operational capacity from 54 megawatts to more than 200 megawatts in 2027.
