Intelligence has raised $7.9 million in a seed round led by Index Ventures, with Conviction, A* and Valkyrie participating. The company is based in San Francisco, California.
The number that stands out is not the raise. Intelligence says it is running at $60 million in annual recurring revenue, which is not a figure most companies reach before their first priced round.
Its product, Design Arena, is a public benchmarking platform for AI generated visual design. The system aggregates, ranks and scores generative design outputs using crowdsourced evaluations with humans in the loop, which gives the field a shared reference point for quality that automated scoring has struggled to provide.
Grace Li is co-founder and chief executive.
The capital is earmarked for core machine learning model evaluation infrastructure, a larger crowdsourced reviewer community, and faster data engineering pipelines for multi modal design validation.
