Actualyze AI has come out of stealth with a $7 million seed round. Storm Ventures, Canaan Partners, Morado Ventures and AME Cloud Ventures, the firm founded by Jerry Yang, all backed the company. It is based in Pasadena, California.

The pitch is a single control point for enterprise AI traffic. Actualyze sits between the organization and the models it uses, integrating with OpenAI compatible models, AI client tools and third party platforms, then applying access policies, security guardrails, budget controls and model routing to every inference request that passes through.

That last piece matters as much as the governance. Deciding which model should answer which request is where a large share of enterprise AI spending is either saved or wasted.

Rafi Khardalian is chief executive and Sean Lynch is chief technology officer. The hosted platform is currently in early access through the company Design Partner Program.

Actualyze plans to use the money to scale operations and broaden what the platform can do.
