SpecterOps, a provider of adversary-focused cybersecurity solutions, today announced that it has closed a $33.5M Series A funding round led by Decibel. The round also included participation from Ballistic Ventures, Kevin Mandia, and other strategic investors.

The funding will be used to accelerate the adoption of BloodHound Enterprise (BHE), the industry’s first platform for comprehensively removing identity attack paths in Microsoft’s Active Directory (AD) and Azure AD. BHE is a powerful tool that helps organizations identify and remediate critical security vulnerabilities in their AD environments.

“We are excited to partner with Decibel and our other investors to accelerate the adoption of BHE,” said Raphael Mudge, CEO of SpecterOps. “This funding will enable us to invest in R&D, grow our team, and deliver powerful new features to customers.”

In addition to BHE, SpecterOps also offers a variety of other adversary-focused cybersecurity solutions, including training, consulting, and research. The company’s solutions are designed to help organizations understand and defend against the latest threat actor techniques.

“SpecterOps is a leading provider of adversary-focused cybersecurity solutions,” said Mike Wiacek, managing director at Decibel. “We are excited to partner with them to help them accelerate their growth and reach more organizations.”

The funding round comes at a time of significant growth for SpecterOps. The company has seen its customer base grow by over 500% in the past year, and it is now used by some of the largest organizations in the world.

“We are committed to helping organizations defend themselves against the latest threats,” said Mudge. “With this funding, we will be able to accelerate our mission and help even more organizations stay safe.”
