Salus Scientific has closed an oversubscribed Series A, raising $10.1 million. The company announced the close on August 5, 2026.

The round did better than planned. Salus went into it targeting $8.0 million, and investor demand came in strong enough that the company closed above that number and ahead of the schedule it had set.

Founded in 2021 and headquartered in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina, Salus Scientific is building an occupational wellness platform for modern procedural medicine. The focus is on the clinicians themselves rather than the patients: physicians, technologists and nurses who perform fluoroscopy guided procedures, and how the organizations they work for protect them.

It is a corner of the medical device world that tends to get less attention than the equipment in the room, which may be part of why the raise filled so quickly.

The new capital gives Salus a durable runway for commercial scale up. The company plans to expand its production and clinical infrastructure and carry itself through its revenue ramp.
