Natural, a fintech company based in San Francisco, California, has raised a $30 million Series A to build payments infrastructure for AI agents. Kirsten Green at Forerunner led the round, which the company announced on July 20, 2026.

The company raised the round just 193 days after launch, a pace that brings its total funding to more than $40 million. Its backers include Forerunner, Human Capital, Abstract, Bridge, Brex, Mercury, Privy, Vercel, Notion, Increase, Unit, and Figure, among others.

Natural positions itself as an orchestration layer that lets AI agents move and store money. By plugging in its infrastructure, companies can let their agents make payments on their own, collect funds, and transact with both people and other agents.

The team, led by chief executive Kahlil Lalji, is taking direct aim at established payment providers as more software begins to act on its own.
