Minerva Lands $20M Series A to Reinvent Consumer Marketing

Minerva has stepped out of stealth with $20 million in fresh capital and a public launch of its artificial intelligence platform built for consumer marketing leaders. The company, based in New York, announced the raise on June 9, 2026, pairing the financing with a working collaboration with OpenAI.
The Series A round drew a notable mix of backers. The General Partnership, 8VC, Lingotto Innovation, Topology Ventures and NBA Investments all contributed to the financing. That investor list signals confidence in a company that is trying to solve a problem marketers have wrestled with for years, namely how to make sense of scattered customer data and actually act on it.
At the center of Minerva’s pitch is a platform that lets brands pull together fragmented first-party data, enrich it with proprietary consumer context, and run complete marketing workflows using AI agents. The company says a brand can move from raw, disconnected data to functioning marketing operations within 24 hours. Two of its core tools, an Agentic Data Engineer and an Agentic Data Scientist, were developed alongside OpenAI and run on models including GPT-5.5.
Minerva was founded by Jackson Engles, Daniel Saedi and Matthew Joseph. With the new money in hand, the team plans to grow its engineering, research and go-to-market functions while building out a self-serve version of the platform that more brands can adopt directly.
The timing reflects a wider shift in how marketing teams want to work. As first-party data becomes more valuable and harder to wrangle, tools that can unify and activate that information without months of setup are drawing real attention. Minerva is betting that speed and AI-driven automation will be enough to win over marketers who have grown tired of stitching together half a dozen disconnected systems.
