Guickly has launched with $4.2 million in a Seed round led by Engineering Capital, with Converge VC, Neon Fund and angel investors participating.

The company works out of San Jose, and it helps enterprises measure, control and optimise what they spend on AI tools and infrastructure.

Prashant Jalan founded the company. He was previously an Applied AI Lead at Google, where he spent more than eight years, helped develop the Google Maps speed limit feature and built a profiler for optimising TPU performance.

The product is what Guickly calls an independent AI measurement layer. It shows enterprises where AI is being used inside the organisation, how much is being spent, which employees and tools are consuming resources, and what return the company is getting from those investments.

The word doing the work there is independent. Spend data reported by the vendors selling the AI is not the same as spend data collected across all of them.

Guickly joins a set of California companies selling governance and cost tooling to buyers who adopted AI faster than they built controls for it.

Software vendors targeting enterprise technology buyers can reach newly funded companies through B2B SaaS Leads.
