Cloverleaf AI has disclosed an $8 million Series A that actually closed back in January, led by S3 Ventures with participation from Jackson Square Ventures, Ivy Ventures and Tawani Ventures.
Launched in 2021 and based in Denver, the company sells a full funnel B2G sales intelligence platform. The round follows a $2.8 million seed announced in late 2024, raised while the company was already operating out of Colorado.
The thesis behind the business is blunt: most government deals are lost before the RFP is ever published. By the time procurement formally opens, relationships have been made, requirements have been written, and whoever got there early has already shaped the outcome.
Cloverleaf’s answer is to watch the public record continuously. The platform monitors more than 70,000 public sector agencies and over 200,000 verified public sector speakers, tracking committee meetings, budget discussions and stakeholder activity, then routing territory specific intelligence to sellers before buying cycles formally begin.
The company’s argument is that commercial sales tools were never designed for this. Generic intent data, RFP scrapers and noisy alert platforms activate too late and carry too little context about contracting vehicles, budget appropriations, agency hierarchies and compliance cycles. Cloverleaf positions itself as the purpose built replacement for that stack. Customers including Uber Transit have seen up to $1 million in pipeline per rep per quarter.
Since the round closed, the company has hired quickly across sales, marketing, business development and customer success, and it has spent the last seven months working on data quality. The software itself has grown well past video: agendas, minutes, notices, legislation, budgets, purchase data and municipal code are now tracked alongside committee footage. The contact library has crossed one million verified contacts and speakers, and with MCP and native CRM integrations, the intelligence now surfaces inside the tools sellers already use rather than in one more tab.
Sellers targeting newly funded technology companies can build the same kind of early advantage with B2B software sales leads delivered as each round is announced.
