CellsBin has closed its Series A financing, with 108 BioCapital leading the round. The company announced the close on September 22, 2026, and did not attach a dollar figure to the raise.
Based in Branford, Connecticut, CellsBin describes itself as a company pioneering Rare-Cell Biology™. Its core product is the Rare-Cell Intelligence™ Platform, which is meant to give precision medicine a new observational layer by making rare cells visible, measurable and actionable.
The biotechnology platform brings together advanced microfluidics, patented multimodal imaging, single-cell analysis and artificial intelligence. That mix is designed to pick up biological signals that conventional methods often miss. On top of it, CellsBin layers ultrasensitive rare-cell detection, high-dimensional cellular profiling, longitudinal biological monitoring, proprietary datasets and AI-driven analysis.
The aim is to help researchers and clinicians understand how therapeutic cells behave, how diseases evolve and why patients respond differently to cell therapy. CellsBin is starting with cell and gene therapy monitoring and hematologic cancers. Over the longer run, it wants Rare-Cell Biology™ to become a foundational discipline across research, drug development and clinical medicine.
The company, led by co-founder and CEO Ali Kabiri, PhD, will put the new capital toward faster commercial adoption, broader strategic and channel partnerships, and its research and product development roadmap. It also plans to strengthen its clinical evidence base and grow its commercial, scientific and technical teams.
