Stathera, a fabless semiconductor company based in Montréal, Quebec, has raised US$55 million in a Series B round. Announced on June 30, 2026, the financing was led by new investor Maverick Silicon, with participation from Celesta Capital, BDC Capital, the MediaTek Innovation Fund, TXC Corporation, and Ultratech Capital Partners. The round brings total funding to US$75 million.

The company develops MEMS based silicon oscillators built on a proprietary DualMode architecture. The parts are designed to replace legacy quartz crystals with timing components that are up to 85% smaller, more power efficient, and more resilient against thermal shock and vibration.

Stathera plans to use the money to scale mass production of its GEN2 32.768 kHz timing portfolio, speed up development of its next GEN3 platform aimed at AI data centers, grow its commercial teams, and open a new corporate base in Silicon Valley. It is targeting first customer samples of the GEN3 platform in 2028.
