Mironid announced a $46 million Series B on August 5, 2026, worth £34 million in sterling. The Scottish National Investment Bank came in as a new investor with an £8.4 million equity commitment.
Existing backers Roche Venture Fund, Epidarex Capital, Sofinnova Partners and BioGeneration Ventures all supported the round, and the University of Strathclyde participated as well.
The biotech is based in Glasgow, Scotland, in the UK, and develops small molecule therapeutics for autosomal dominant polycystic kidney disease, a hereditary and life threatening condition.
Its lead candidate is a first in class LoAc small molecule, and the money is intended to carry it through clinical development for ADPKD patients.
