Deemos Technologies Secures Tens of Millions in Series A Funding

Deemos Technologies Inc, a Shanghai-based 3D modeling company, has recently completed a significant round of funding. The company, which was founded in 2020 by Wu Di, Zhang Qixuan, Zhang Longwen, and Zeng Chuxiao, has secured tens of millions of dollars in Series A financing. This funding round was led by DragonBall Capital and ByteDance, with participation from existing shareholders Sequoia China Seed Fund and Miracle Plus. Lighthouse Capital served as the exclusive financial advisor for this transaction.

The funds raised will be utilized by Deemos to further advance the frontier exploration of 3D large models and to promote the commercialization of its Hyper3D series products globally, with a focus on Rodin, a core product for generating 3D large models. Rodin has shown remarkable success, achieving an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of $1 million just 45 days after its launch and experiencing rapid growth since then.

Deemos has established deep cooperation with globally renowned clients across various industries, including gaming, e-commerce, embodied intelligence, spatial computing, 3D printing, and film & television. Notable clients include Amazon, ByteDance, Unity, and Bambu Lab, with whom Deemos has secured millions of B2B commercial orders.

The company, incubated at ShanghaiTech University, has a young and dynamic team with an average age of 24 years old. This recent funding round underscores the potential and growth prospects of Deemos in the 3D modeling and metaverse sectors.
