Sloneek, a Czech-Slovak HR software company headquartered in Prague, has raised $6 million in a Series A round led by Orbit Capital and Venture to Future Fund. The company turns HR software into something closer to an AI colleague, and the new money is meant to push that idea further while opening up two new markets.

The platform works as a digital office for HR teams. It covers the full arc of employee administration, from taking in CVs and getting contracts signed to tracking attendance, running performance reviews, and handling offboarding. That breadth has helped it build a customer base of more than 500 clients across 25 countries, with names like Grant Thornton, MAN, and Twisto among them.

The business has been growing quickly. Its annual recurring revenue has reached €2.5 million, more than doubling in the year leading up to mid-2025. That momentum is part of what the round is built on.

Sloneek plans to put the funding toward two goals. The first is deepening its AI capabilities, with the next version of the platform letting HR managers run tasks through voice or text commands rather than clicking through menus. The second is geographic: the company is expanding into the UK and Poland, where it will stand up local sales teams to chase new customers.

With fresh backing and a product roadmap pointed at AI-driven HR, Sloneek is setting itself up to compete with much larger players in the category while extending its footprint across Europe.
