Silent Push Secures $10 Million in Series A Funding
Silent Push, a leading provider of preemptive cybersecurity intelligence, has secured a significant investment to fuel its global expansion and strengthen its market presence. The company announced a $10 million Series A financing round co-led by Ten Eleven Ventures and Stepstone Group LP. This latest round of funding brings Silent Push’s total funding to $22 million, combining it with its early seed round.
The investment will primarily be used to accelerate Silent Push’s global expansion in the EMEA and APJ regions. This strategic move aims to meet the growing demand for the company’s unique ability to identify pre-weaponized attacker infrastructure through its Indicators of Future Attacks (IOFA) data. Silent Push’s IOFA data provides a comprehensive view of emerging threat infrastructure in real-time, enabling customers to avoid financial and brand reputational loss by exposing cyber-attackers and revealing malicious intent.
In addition to the funding, Silent Push has been recognized for its innovative solutions by being deemed awardable on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace. This prestigious recognition comes after the company demonstrated innovation, scalability, and potential impact on Department of Defense (DoD) missions among a competitive field of applicants. The inclusion in the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace streamlines the procurement process for government customers, providing faster access to Silent Push’s platform and services.
Ken Bagnall, CEO of Silent Push, highlighted the significance of this milestone, stating that it removes barriers for innovative startups like Silent Push and enables the DoD to better track threats. Bagnall, along with co-founder John Jensen, CTO, has a mission to change how intelligence is delivered and better inform organizations about global adversaries. Both Bagnall and Jensen are established cybersecurity veterans who previously worked together at FireEye, Inc., and founded The Email Laundry, a company that protected email from malware, phishing, spam, and other advanced threats for over 10,000 organizations worldwide.
Dave Palmer, General Partner of Ten Eleven Ventures, praised Silent Push’s unique approach to threat intelligence, noting that the company continuously maps out Internet-facing infrastructure to identify attackers setting up campaigns before they launch attacks. Palmer emphasized that Silent Push’s rapid growth, both in elevating its product and attracting new customers, has been impressive, and the company’s impact on security programs has been significant.
Silent Push’s proprietary scanning and aggregation engine logs changes across the entire IPv4 and IPv6 space, providing security teams with pre-evaluated data and query functionality that is not available anywhere else on the Internet. This capability addresses a critical gap in the global security industry, which currently tracks only 2% of live attacker infrastructure. Silent Push focuses on the remaining 98%, aiming to transform the way organizations track, monitor, and counteract global threat activity.
The company’s solutions are trusted by Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and over 3,000 users. Some of the world’s largest companies are regular users, including 50% of the Fortune 30. With this latest round of funding and recognition on the Tradewinds Solutions Marketplace, Silent Push is poised to lead the global threat detection transformation and continue to build on its one-of-a-kind approach to threat intelligence.
