Qbiq Secures $16M to Revolutionize Architectural Planning with AI

Qbiq, a pioneering company in the field of artificial intelligence for architectural planning, has recently secured a significant funding round. The company, which specializes in automating architectural planning processes, has raised $16 million in a Series A funding round led by Insight Partners, a global software investor. This investment is a significant milestone for Qbiq, enabling the company to accelerate its global expansion and further transform the real estate industry.

Qbiq’s innovative technology allows users to effortlessly generate layout plans and visualizations, making architectural planning faster, accessible, and more efficient for both non-designers and designers. The company’s AI-powered platform can produce a complete design package, including optimized floor plans, 3D visualizations, architectural programs, quantity estimates, and Revit/CAD models, all within minutes. This capability addresses one of the biggest pain points in the real estate industry: the inefficiency of traditional architectural planning, which often leads to delays and prolonged deal cycles.

Since its launch, Qbiq has delivered over 400 million square feet of architectural layouts and visualizations, transforming real estate transactions for hundreds of clients globally. The company’s customer base has grown more than tenfold, and it continues to see increasing demand for its automated architectural solutions. Key clients include Brookfield Properties, JLL, Skanska, and IWG, who can now easily create a wide range of architectural outputs for any space in minutes.

Qbiq’s software empowers non-architects and architects alike to immediately plan, visualize, and optimize any given space. With a simple input of requirements, such as seat count and finish materials, Qbiq’s AI generates a comprehensive design package. This capability dramatically accelerates decision-making and transactions for brokers, landlords, tenants, architects, general contractors, and co-working chains.

The investment from Insight Partners will drive Qbiq’s mission to standardize automated architectural capabilities in commercial real estate. The company aims to make architectural planning more efficient and accessible, reducing the dependency on manual workflows that have been prevalent for decades. Qbiq’s founders, Leeor Solnik, Elad Kaminer, Noam Diamantstein, and Roey Granot, established the company in 2019 with the vision of revolutionizing the architectural planning process.

Qbiq’s technology is transforming the $30 trillion global commercial real estate market by accelerating layout planning and design from weeks to seconds. The company’s proprietary technology draws on decades of architectural knowledge and regulatory requirements, utilizing thousands of cloud processors to provide optimized, data-driven planning for any space. This self-serve platform empowers landlords, brokers, and tenants, with no expertise or architectural knowledge, to generate optimized layout planning for any space.

The funding round also included participation from JLL Spark, 10D, Ocean Azul, Random Forest, and M-Fund, further underscoring the industry’s confidence in Qbiq’s innovative approach. With this investment, Qbiq is poised to continue its rapid growth and lead the transformation of the real estate industry through automated architectural planning.
