Vasco Secures $11.5 Million CAD for AI-Powered RevOps Platform
A Montreal-based company, Vasco, has secured significant funding to further develop its artificial intelligence (AI)-powered revenue operations (RevOps) platform. The company has received $8 million USD ($11.5 million CAD) in seed funding, led by Inovia Capital, with participation from BY Venture Partners, FRAMEWORK Venture Partners, and angel investors.
Vasco’s platform is designed to help startups and scaleups manage their revenue trajectory more effectively. The company identifies a critical pain point in the go-to-market phase, where many businesses struggle with commercialization despite having proven product-market fit and strong customer demand. Vasco’s solution aims to unite sales, marketing, and customer success teams through a centralized platform, providing real-time data and insights to evaluate the impact of marketing campaigns and track revenue targets.
The funding will be used to enhance the platform’s AI solutions and expand its client base globally. Vasco’s platform integrates data from various sources, including marketing, sales, and customer success, alongside a workforce management tool. This allows companies to map out revenue targets on a timeline and assign team members to different tasks, tracking individual and team contributions.
A key feature of Vasco’s platform is its AI-powered RevOps copilot, Gama AI, which identifies the causes of revenue gaps and suggests strategies to improve revenue generation. Gama AI analyzes data and generates scores for different phases of the customer journey, such as awareness, closing, onboarding, retention, and expansion.
Vasco’s founders, Guillaume Jacquet and Sébastien Rothlisberger, have extensive experience in the startup ecosystem. Jacquet previously co-founded ChronoGolf, a golf management software startup that was acquired by Lightspeed in 2019. He then served as Lightspeed’s executive vice-president of product and technology before leaving to launch Vasco in 2022.
The company has already gained traction with clients such as Lightspeed and Montreal-based Connect & Go, both of whom have endorsed the product. Vasco is also a certified partner of Winning by Design, RevGenius, and Pavilion—SaaS consultancies whose expertise helped inform Vasco’s product.
Vasco’s ultimate goal is to make its platform accessible to as many go-to-market leaders and RevOps teams as possible. The company currently has just over 20 employees and is looking to grow over the next year. With this funding, Vasco is poised to make a significant impact in the startup ecosystem by helping companies scale more effectively through its AI-powered RevOps platform.
