Wellinks announced the first close of its Series B on August 4, 2026, securing $10 million from UMass Memorial Health and inside investors.
The company works in cardiopulmonary care and is based in New Haven, Connecticut. Its FDA cleared Spire remote patient monitoring system looks for early physiologic changes that precede clinical deterioration, so chronic respiratory disease can be managed before a patient ends up back in hospital.
There is outcome data behind the pitch. Wellinks and UMass Chan Medical School ran a program called Healthy at Home aimed at reducing acute care use among COPD patients, and participants showed more than 60 percent lower odds of readmission within 30 days.
That kind of result is what makes a healthcare monitoring product commercially viable rather than merely clinically interesting.
Proceeds fund an expanded commercial footprint into rural and underserved markets, further work on the predictive analytics engine, and extension of the care model into congestive heart failure.
