Tickets for Good, a Sheffield, England startup that gives key workers low-cost access to live events, has raised a further £3.9 million to speed up its international expansion. The round was announced on September 8, 2026.

The funding came from NPIF II Mercia Equity Finance, managed by Mercia Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, alongside Shaping Impact Group, Finance Yorkshire, Leansquare, and private investors. Henrietta Street Capital advised the company on the raise, and Cradan handled financial due diligence for Mercia.

The platform distributes surplus tickets donated by event partners to NHS workers, teachers, charity staff, and people receiving Cost of Living support. Members sign up for free and pay a small transaction fee per ticket. Venues get fuller rooms, more ancillary revenue, and new audiences, while people who might otherwise miss out get into shows.

The company began trading in 2022 and now has almost 750,000 verified members worldwide and has distributed more than 1.25 million tickets. It was founded by CEO Steve Rimmer, a serial entrepreneur and promoter in Sheffield’s creative industries, and the late Neville Mosey, who died in 2023 at age 37. Robbie Williams is an ambassador, as are former Dutch international goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and music entrepreneur Hans Brouwer.

Tickets for Good entered the US in 2023 through the Comcast SportsTech accelerator in St. Louis and now also operates in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. Revenue doubled in 2025, and the company is targeting a further fivefold increase over the next three years. The new money will fund 10 new jobs in Sheffield over three years and expansion into additional overseas markets.
