MIND has raised $72 million in a Series B led by Crosspoint Capital Partners, bringing the data loss prevention startup’s total funding to $112 million. Existing investors YL Ventures and Paladin Capital Group also took part.
The Seattle company came out of stealth in 2024 with an AI-native DLP platform built to protect customer data through automation.
Its product detects and blocks data exfiltration attempts in real time across the whole enterprise environment, covering email, endpoint, generative AI, and SaaS deployments. Multi-layer classification identifies both content and context, and AI agents then run the DLP process itself: investigating events, tuning policies, and closing out issues.
That last part is the pitch. Conventional data loss prevention is a well-established market, but the tooling was designed for a slower world and leans heavily on manual work. AI has made that gap wider on both sides, giving people and autonomous systems faster ways to move sensitive data while also supplying the technology to rebuild how the data gets protected.
Eran Barak co-founded the company and serves as CEO. He previously founded Hexadite, which Microsoft acquired.
MIND plans to put the new money into accelerating platform development, expanding into key enterprise markets, deepening partnerships, and growing the team.
Security vendors and channel partners selling into newly funded security companies can get verified contacts every week through Cyber Security Lead Generation.
